This club, formerly Stephanies, has new management--Pony Club. They advertise open from noon, so I thought I'd stop in at 7 pm. I walked in, got my beer for $3, tipped a buck, and sat down. I waited for four songs and NOT ONE DANCER appeared. There were bouncers all over the place, and a cute bartender, but NOTHING on the stages. So I left, and I don't plan to go back anytime soon. The sports on the flat screen tvs are not enough to get me to drive an hour from where I live in Illinois to this club. Also, although there's new ownership, the interior looks just the same as it used to when I last visited about a year ago.
