Paradise Island is located in the old Silver Slipper. The inside has not changed. Bar on the left, dance floor on the right, tables and private booths in the back. They do not sell hard liquor, just beer (longnecks $4). This is a hit and miss club. Sometimes you are the only customer with two overweight dancers. Sometimes there are 10 dancers and up to twenty customers...you just never know. Just like in all Louisville clubs, the dancers will push the $22 cocktails (which they drink quickly and ask for another). I rarely buy one. I would rather spend my money on private dances. Dances are 1 for $33, 2 for $44, and 30 minutes for $99...but many times they will agree to 2 for $33. Pick the right dancer and the private shows can be very entertaining.
