Matehuala is almost a carbon copy...

Matehuala is almost a carbon copy of Infifito, except a bit smaller and usually less crowded. It is a bit off the main Villagram strip, but IMO is worth the visit. This is a working man's bar, with low priced beers, decent seating and a single stage. If you have never been to a working class club in Mexico, this may be an eye opening experience for you...there is absolutely nothing like this in the US!

Dancer quality is about the same as Infinito, with some overweight and older ladies mixed with mostly good looking and friendly girls (5-8). Periodically the dance floor turns into a 'fishbowl' with all the girls lining up and patrons picking the one they want for a 'privado'. Not speaking spanish is a bit of a handicap, but the girls are eager and friendly and I have always had a great experience there. Once you get to the privado area you need to overlook the seediness and open views of other couples in booths around you - you will have a good time. Anything goes in the booths, it is upto you and the girl. What the place lacks in class, it makes up for in energy.
