The club is nicely laid out, with three stages and plenty of seating both at the rail, at cocktail tables between the stages, and at the bar. The girls are young and pretty, and they generally move well. It remains, however, a "dead" atmosphere. There simply aren't enough customers to give the lively feeling that the club had as Mark's Showplace. That it's a bikini/pastie club now may have something to do with that. It's also more expensive than its profile suggests. Nighttime cover now seems to be $10, not $7, and drinks run $6 and change. Waitress service is available, but isn't very quick to notice that you need another, or to bring it when you do.
That said, I enjoyed myself. There was a featured dancer the night I went. I was embarrassed for her, how few customers were there to see her. But she moved extremely nicely. The regular girls were, while mostly not big on pole work, good dancers and not just shuffling around. They were also pretty and friendly. A couple of dollars on the rail is much appreciated.
I got my first lap dance in this club this night. It ran $25 or $30, if I recall. Not A-1, but not bad either--and far superior to the "air dances" for which the club has been famous. I will probably stick to watching rather than the lap dances in the future--or at least wait for a 2 for 1 special.
