After all the hubbub in downtown Charlotte with roving gangs of young ethnic "NASCAR FANS" "leaving the Speedstreet Festival" or, in reality, violent gang confrontations killing bystanders and wilding in the streets around the Transit Center, you would think twice about roaming around downtown. But this club is safely off the war zone and easily accessible from the bypass. It always amazes me how the world is madly rushing by in broad daylight and yet, once through this door, all is mellow and black-lit. Just a few punters sitting around watching the endless tv and very mediocre dancers lazily working the room. It is all so mundane and yet very relaxing and predictable... and sometimes even a little fun. But lately it has just been steadily dull and there is no sense of any enthusiasm. Like a little backwater pool full of tadpoles while the stream rushes by...
