Here's the short version of the review: avoid, avoid, avoid.
Based on a reccomendation from another website, I decided to give the "new" club Lace a try. They may have changed the name (formerly Club 418), but that's about it. First there is the issue of parking. Most people park across the street from the front door. Lace is in a sketchy neighborhood so go there at night at your own risk. When you walk in, you go through a metal detector. The club is very dark so watch your step. After about five minutes, I went to the men's room to wash my hands (everything just feels dirty in there). The smell of the men's room almost made me vomit. It smelled like urine that had been collecting and stagnant for about a month. I felt even dirtier after leaving the bathroom.
Now on to the dancers. The main reason I went in was because it's been strongly suggested that "extras" are very easy to get here. In fact, it's been said that many dancers will offer you a helping hand as part of a lap dance. I went there around 4:00 in the afternoon and there were four "dancers" there---I use the word loosely as none of them were really dancing; rather they were sitting at the bar and talking on their cell phones. Out of the four, I couldn't find one worth getting a dance from. All the dancers were black (which may or may not be a factor for some) and overweight...and I'm not just talking about some baby fat. The "thinnest" one was a good 30 pounds overweight and had stretchmarks.
