As you step in, it has the feel of a sleazy Vietnamese brothel from during the war. It's very dark and the night I was there, there were two old Vietnamese women that've probably been doing this since the war, a younger 5 out of 10 black dancer and another woman that I couldn't tell was working or not. The $10 cover included a drink from the bar running right next to the door, then as you ventured further back through the L-shaped layout it kept getting darker and darker. There's a small stage but it didn't seem to be in use. This is the kind of place you go to for dances, not to watch the women. The prices seem to be pretty negotiable, so you can negotiate whatever you want for whatever price she'll take. The women seem to have been at this for a long time, so they're good at what they do. They'll seem nice for as long as you bother to talk, and know how to please in a lap dance or a private one. Lows: dingy, slightly scary conditions, girls hustle you for drinks. Highs: interesting ambiance, the best of dances. Go to the Vu to get worked up, then if you can resist the hustle of the streetwalkers, you can come here to finish the evening with a smile!
