Next stop on my wanderings of the Block was Flamingo Lounge. For some reason, I have a soft spot for this place -- it's certainly no nicer than any of its neighbors, and the dancers can vary wildly depending on the trip. I think it's the combination of dancers who will actually sit and have a conversation with you for the price of your small drink, and fun at a budget price if you're not trying to get the ultimate in extras. On this particular day, I arrived close to shift change, and a lot of the dancers must have made their quota, because except for one or two they were in a pretty good mood. Picked one friendly looking dancer, and after a nice stimulating drink, took advantage of the 3 for 40 lapdances in the side stalls, an excellent deal with the right dancers. Even stopped and had another drink after the dances were done. All in all, probably the best of the clubs on this trip.
