I went to Chances Are during a business trip to Lafayette last week. I've been to Lafayette before and driven past the place, and from the front, wasn't expecting much. The front of the building faces a main road and looks like a store front in a small stripmall, with only a couple cars parked our front. However, the actual entrance is around back and is much nicer than the front.
Upon entering, the interior is alos much larger than what it appears from the front. The tables/chairs are standard strip club (small round for 2, plush chairs with coasters). The stage had a single pole and appreared to be plywood painted black. Overall, wasn't bad but wasn't the nicest place I'd ever been to.
Had a Coor's Lite, was $3.75. As others have posted, dancers got on stage for 3 dances, tips at the rail were pretty good. While I was there, a couple guys had their girlfriends in who tipped. I could hear the dancers ask them if they wanted to get the boobs out, but both declined.
