I haven't been to Alex's in...

I haven't been to Alex's in years. Last time I went, it was somewhat dark and dingy and while most of the girls were decent looking, there wasn't much to bring yu back, unless you lived in the area. I recall, like most of the posters, that the focus was on the stage and if they did dances, they were table dances, not lap dances, and I am pretty sure that these were topless only.

Now...I am spoiled. I have gone to most, if not all, of the RI clubs and there mutual contact is almost a given, even at the 2 for $25 dances at CF in Providence. So...I have very low expectations stopping by Alex's on a weekday afternoon. I had a little time to kill and figured, what the heck, why not check it out.

Well...I was presently surprised. The dancers were all in the late 20's to mid 30's and while no one was an 9 or 10, I also didn't see anybody that I would want to put their clothes back on, like I have seen in many other clubs. Most of the girls were 7 or 8 and that isn't bad at all.

I got a beer, which was $7 I believe, kind of pricey and the waitress waited for her tip. Note - during the day there is no cover but there is a minimum. I watched a couple of stage dances, overall OK, nothing special. Then, there was one girl, Taylor I believe, who danced who looked like she was closer to 20 and 30 but I found out that she was actually 29. After she went off stage, she immediately did a lap dance for another guy but I went up to her and got a dance afterwards. I only have one girl come up ot me in the time I was there - a bit surprised as there were only about twice as many guys as there were girls, so if you don't like to be pressured, this might be a decent place.

The LD was actually pretty decent for $20, given what I ahve gotten elsewehre. However, no contact on the guy's part and again, I am spoiled by RI clubs. She did offer the champagne room for $145 for 15 minutes but that didn't include her drink, my required drink, and tip. She said it would end up costing about $175. I seriously considered it, especially when she said I oculd put the whole think on my credit card, but declined as this is a lot of money and I suspect the mileage is better in RI and the cost is definately cheaper. I am curious as to what really does happen in these champagne rooms - how much contact is allowed and do the girls offer BJ or HJ and if so, how much more? It has not been uncommon at CF in Providence for thse extras to occur automatically for no additional funds - just the $130. However, the privacy at CF in these booths is not so great, so there are always trade offs.
