I hit up the SouthFork Lounge on the south side of Watertown while working in Governor Noem’s hometown. I came in at 20:15 on a Tuesday and was assessed a $3 cover at the podium just inside the door. The cover charge is $3 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and $5 on Friday and Saturday. A Sincweiser was $4 and served to me by a topless bartender with a nice set of jugs. Other drinks like White Claws, imports, and microbrews were $4.75. I bought a dancer a rum and Coke after a string of lap dances, and it was also a reasonable $4.75. Happy Hour is Monday through Thursday 17:00 to 20:00. Beers are a budget-friendly $2 during Happy Hour. A limited food menu is available, such as bar pizzas and appetizers. A vending machine has bags of chips for $1, candy bars for $2, and packs of cigarettes for $8. The dress code is lenient: you must wear a shirt and shoes. Shorts and ball caps are fine.
Once inside, high top tables, two pool tables, and the washrooms are to the left. The lone stage is to the right. The stage comes off the right wall and is about two and half feet off the ground with a spinning pole in the middle. The bar is along the left side of the back wall. A room with slot machines is on the right side of the back wall. Smoking is only allowed in the slot machine room. The private dance area is hidden behind the bar after walking around the DJ booth. The private dance couches are separated by curtains on their sides, but otherwise people walking through the area can see what is going on. The ATM has a $5 fee per transaction and only allows a maximum of $200 to be withdrawn per transaction.
There were ten dancers working with a variety of ethnicities and body types to choose from. I graded the dancers between a 1 and an 8. It seemed at least half of the dancers come to SouthFork to work for a week at a time, then return home. Dancers working for predetermined weeks is a common model in this part of the country where strippers are scarce. On the whole, dancers were cordial and not too aggressive. However, I’d recommend avoiding Marley. She pounced on me as soon as I got to my table. I had no interest in getting dances before I even took a sip of beer, and I don’t care for girls who are not HWP, so I told her I was not interested. She didn’t take the hint. She became fixated on the two dollar bills I had sitting next to my phone on the table (the change after paying the cover charge), and said I should tip her in her nonexistent cleavage. I told her, “No.” She took the two dollars, shoved them onto her flat chest, and walked off. Dancers did three-song sets on stage, stripping down to their bottoms. Patrons were barely tipping the stage, so some of the dancers refused to remove their tops during their sets. There were several dancers that wore one-piece outfits on the floor, most likely hiding an out of shape or postnatal body, which made it easy for me to figure out which dancers I did not want to get lap dances from. A small tip at the stage would get you boobs smashed into your face.

A regular couch dance is $20 per song. A fifteen minute VIP is $100. A half hour VIP is $200. There might be a little more privacy with the longer sessions, but I do not have any confirmation because I only bought couch dances. I bought four couch dances from one of the better-looking vixens. You must prepay for dances at the podium by the door. If you want to do more than initially planned, you pay for the additional songs at the DJ booth. There was signage stating that touching the dancers was not permitted, but it seemed the dancer I went with opened the playbook up a bit after I opted to do more songs. I was able to touch her legs, hips, and even got a few brief grabs of her tits. I will keep her name anonymous to avoid any scrutiny from management. I was fully expecting the DJ or a bouncer to patrol the private dance area based on the signage and the set up of the private dance area, but no intrusion ever came. Despite this, I would highly doubt you could get anything along the lines of extras, French kissing, fingering, or titty sucking at this joint.
The SouthFork Lounge is the only strip club in the area and has been in operation since 1991. The club can get by offering limited mileage without any competition in the area. The SouthFork is worth a go if you are in town and want a few drinks, but I would not make a pilgrimage from any significant distance.
