I have been to the club...

I have been to the club before and seeing it was the end of the world yesterday figured might as well go in a place I liked. The club is large and roomy with one main stage and some smaller stages around the place where dancers do bikini shows throughtout the night. The main stage is well lit and large. It is reasonably clean and kept up, the washrooms are okay. There are pool tables on one side of the club away from the main action. If you go in early before 7 there are a few advantages, one being no cover charge ($8) and happy hour is on and beer is reasonably prices. I got a draft for $4. The only problem was getting a waitress, service was a little slow but they added waitresses after 7.

The dancers on the main stage were all fairly attractive and did the standard 3 set show. The 4th dance is a loony\twoonie dance where the dancer has you throw loonies or twoonies at her in a variety of skill testing games. The prize is usually a picture of her which she will autograph after the show. If I am interested you can usually just give her $5 or $10 instead which I think they prefer to being pelted with coins.

As for private dances it appears you must talk to your server. The girls do not come around and ask like they do in Ontario. I tried one a few months ago at another sister club. The cost is $30 per dance. There is NO contact and the bouncers are in and out constantly to make sure you keep your distance. Would I go back? If it was early enough I would for the no cover charge and cheap beer.
