Hadn't been to the Orchid in...

Hadn't been to the Orchid in a long while, had some good times there so I thought I'd drop in and see what was shaking. Paid a $15 cover charge and ordered a $7 beer. After a few minutes I realized there was only 1 other customer in the place and only 2 ladies working. Didn't see any body on stage. I was approached by an extremely unattractive 30 - 40 year old dancer that reminded me of an overweight Tracey Ullman with too many tattoos, no way I could work up any interest in this lady. Spotted the other gal working and ditto for her. Finished my beer and mad a hasty exit.

Maybe it was just a fluke, but based on this experience, I don't think I'll be visiting the Wild Orchid anytime soon. If the management was somewhat decent, they should have at least refunded the cover charge.
