I drove down with 3 other buddies on a Saturday night. Two of us had never been to HK; the other two guys have gone a few times. We parked on the U.S. side and walked across the border. There are a bunch of cab drivers waiting over there so you can't miss them. The cab ride was $5 and took less than five minutes.

We got to the club a little past 7pm. There were already about 50 girls working inside, but most were pretty average in the looks department. We had a beer and walked around the club once and then decided to check out Adelita's. There were a few pretty girls at Adelita's but we just hung out for about 30 minutes and then went back to HK. We prefer the younger, hipper vibe at HK, which is more like a club here in the States.

When we got back to HK, it was harder to find a table, but we finally found one near the back. By now there were about 75 girls working and the ratio of pretty girls to ugly girls was starting to improve. A few girls immediately came by our table and sat with us. They seemed nice enough so we bought drinks for them and they hung out for a good while. My friends and I really enjoy this portion of the night because you are allowed to do more (touching, etc.) in the main lounge of this club than you are when you get a "lapdance" at clubs in the U.S. If you're sitting with a girl you like, just buy her a drink every once in awhile and tip her a dollar here and there. Most girls are pretty friendly, it seems. I will say that it certainly helps if you speak Spanish (especially if you're going alone or don't have a Spanish speaker in the group). In our group, two guys speak fluently, I'm proficient, and the other guy doesn't really speak Spanish, but we all had a hell of a time.
