I’ve visited Cheeks a number of times of the last year and I’ve always had a good time. I visited on a recent Friday night and still had a good time but as I sat stage-side something was different. The girls weren’t getting topless! Apparently, Dayton and/or Ohio started to enforce a law that essentially turns any club with alcohol into a bikini bar. Don’t panic: they still get topless during private dances but having them covered up on stage is disappointing. Everyone loses with this change: the customer’s experience isn’t what they want therefore they won’t come as often, the dancers won’t earn as much, and the club loses drinks revenue. All because a few prudish politicians can’t keep from meddling in other people’s lives and livelihood.

That being said, I still had a good time. I had private dances with two of my favorite dancers, Charity and Candy. The private dances are unchanged and excellent and the 2-for-1’s are still one of the best deals I’ve seen in any club. Hopefully everyone lightens up, comes to their senses and lets the those beautiful girls dance topless once again.
