I visited Temptations last Friday. I didn't expect too much based on the recent reviews below. We had spent some time in the P & L District and were about to head back to our hotel at around 11:30 PM. We had plans to drive to Lawrence the next evening, so we had not planned to visit any clubs in KC. But I thought we would check this one out since it was close by.

The cover charge was $ 19 and when I gave the older fellow at the door two $ 20's for two of us, he tried to keep my change. But there was no need to tip him, so I demanded my $ 2 back. There were two or three dancers sitting in chairs near the entrance trying to snag new patrons. We told a couple of them we would be back to see them later and they allowed us to go on in unmolested and sit next to the stage. We watched two or three dancers on stage and they were fairly good (6 - 8).

I decided to try a private dance or two. I was pleasantly surprised. My dancer (don't remember her name) allowed me to discreetly put my hands on her chest and she was interested in what I wanted her to do. I ended up spending $ 100 for, what I believe was five dances and I left happy. I am sure YMMV, but this club was much better than I expected.
