hadn't been back here in about...

hadn't been back here in about a year, and was bored on a tuesday night, so decided to give this place another chance (i had become quite disenchanted with this place). had an old village voice ad for free admission, which they still accepted (i may have gone home if they didn't take it). immediately directed by bouncers to check my coat for $3. went to the bar and found that the vodka (absolut) cocktails were still $16 (no doubt more for something like grey goose). scoped out the place, and found the dancer quality to be decent. some familiar old faces, a few new ones. all ethnicities represented. lots of fake boobs. approached by an eastern european lady who was good in conversation, and got me hooked with close talking and subtle touches (hair brushing by me, rubbing my arms, etc.). meh, oldest trick in the book - and it still got me, the wily old veteran clubber. had a few dances (minimal contact, hands off, uncomfortable grinding) which weren't too memorable. then i bought her a $20 drink. then i was enticed by her promises of a much better time in the private room. i must have shut off my brain, because not long after, i agreed to a 30 minute private room. first time in a while here for me...some changes i found: now you can use your credit card for the whole transaction without incurring a fee or taxes. last time i tried this, i could put the room cost on the card, but had to pay the girl cash in order to avoid fees/taxes. handed over my cc and id (which i'm certain they scanned). kind of embarrassed to admit this, but the cost was $535 (now that i think about it, they probably built in the fees/taxes into the cost), and i tipped the manager/bouncer dude $15. even sketchier was that he comes back with not just the cc receipt, but this form (which obviously i did not read) which requires a signature, and a thumbprint! then got hit up for another $20 drink by the waitress and dancer. i probably would have been okay with this fleecing if the actual private session had been any good, but it was lame to say the least. a bit more hands on than before, but the dancer was very controlling in what i was allowed to do - pretty much nothing! before i knew it, the only thing i was left with was buyer's remorse. this reminded me why i hate this place. unfortunately, it's the easiest place for me to get to, which is why i keep giving it so many chances. i really have got to learn to avoid the private rooms :).
