I went to the Silk Stocking...

I went to the Silk Stocking once before (I really don't know how i got in because I think it was always 21+ but i got in when I was 19, go figure) but back then the place was supposedly run by someone else than it is now, and in my opinion, it has gotten much better. When I walked in 2 years ago the place seemed just too dark and dirty. Now, it seems like the owner is really trying to bring this place back out of a funk. The place has good acoustics, is clean overall, and the girls I give about a 7 overall. It cost $10 to get in, $20 for a lap dance in their semi-VIP area (you can see the guys and dancers if you sort of arch your neck in the right direction), and $5 per drink. They have these "body" shots that you can buy though for $5 and the waitress will give you a bikini lap dance leading up to a tube shot given from her cleavage. It's pretty cool, and the waitresses who give them are probably around a 7 overall. The other guys who were there weren't too bad, some were acting pretty crazy but the bouncers stepped in quick. DJ was sort of annoying, not terrible but it took just a little too long to get the next dancer up on stage. Overall it was still cool, and definitely a lot better than it was 3 years ago. So I wouldn't have a problem recommending the place to any of my friends.

I would say that there were about two 9's, an 8, two 7's, and the rest were maybe 6's and down from there. I got a lap dance from a 7, but she really did a great job, she made me want to go back to the ATM machine, haha, but I really didn't want to spend the money. They all seemed like they were really into what they were doing, especially this one Latina girl who seemed really young but very into what she was doing. There were 2 black girls, 2 Latinas, and the rest were white, so it was pretty cool. A good mix, and they didn't try to get you to buy a dance really bad, so you weren't ever pressured really.
