Made a very rare trip to SJP on a Friday afternoon. I hadn't visited since last year, and was surprised to see Victoria (a long time dayshift regular) still there. Also recognized Tender and a couple other girls I'd seen before. The place hasn't changed, especially in the lap dance department. There are still some of the things I like about the club that keep it in my top 5 list. First, there is no push to buy the dancers a drink. It's a nice laid back club, relaxed, no hassle. The girls are fairly active in coming up to you to ask for a dance, which is nice compared to some other clubs. However, it certainly does suffer from a common strip club disease where many dancers spend way too much time in the dressing room, or are very picky about who they ask for dances. The dancer quality is pretty good, though generally nothing spectacular. I do like the fact that the laps are done out in the open so you can check out how each girl performs with her laps before dropping any cash. Though for the most part you're not going to get any seriously high mileage with the $10 laps. And for me, that's why it has been surpassed by other clubs, and why I only rarely make a visit to SJP. For this trip, as usual Victoria was floating around but never stopped by to ask for a dance. She's one of my dayshift favorites, but unfortunately seems to be rather picky about asking for dances. I watched some of the other dancers giving laps, but wasn't really feeling any of them, so suprisingly I never got a lap dance. Anyway, it's a good club, and if you want some decent, low priced lap dances in a relaxed atmosphere, it's a nice place to hang out.
