There were three clubs on my agenda to visit on this Tuesday afternoon: Flamingo, Sahara, and Taboo. This is my impression of Taboo. First, it's pretty hard to find, so you have to do your homework on Map Quest or Yahoo search. It looks a little like a warehouse right off the 57 Freeway, and it may have been at one time. After I paid my entrance fee, I walked in and it was like going into a movie theater with nothing on the screen and the side lights all dimmed. It took a few minutes to get used to the dark. I took a seat along the side and ordered my diet coke. When I could see something, there was not a lot to see. A couple of girls were standing at the juice bar, one girl was on stage, and I saw one other customer in the place. Eventually, a dancer drifted over to me, and after some preliminary chat, invited me for a dance. $20 on the side benches. I declined the VIP. I wanted to see how things would go first. The dance was pretty tame. The girl was pretty ordinary. I wouldn't pay $20 for that experience again. Chalk it up to experience and the price of research. I stopped after one. Another girl came up and suggested that she would bring some heat. So I went back again for round two. When I tried to make a move for her tits, she got really snippy and said something to the effect that it would cost a lot more than $20 to touch her there. I said something like thank you for the courtesy and great time. She abruptly stopped the dance and walked off. After that, I left the building, and I promise never to return. A waste of time. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
