Inspired by the encouraging reviews of local clubs, I decided to take a chance on Flamingo, even though I have been sour on strip clubs in Southern California for quite some time. It was a pleasant surprise. This is not the second coming of Houston's Treasures or Tampa's Mons Venus, but it was pretty ok, in spite of some lousy experiences along the way. I actually visited on Monday night, Tuesday afternoon, and Tuesday night. It sounds like I camped out there, doesn't it? But I wasn't there continuously. Monday night was, by far, the best time, thanks to the ministrations of two young ladies, Francene (who has been there, she says, for a year) and her friend Jasmine (who has been there for a month). The other personnel (about four or five of them) were not as memorable.

True enough, the $10 dances are a real value. They are bikini dances, but there is ample slipping under the garments and some generous mutual touching. The only thing I would take issue with is the assertion by another poster that the songs are about four minutes. According to my stopwatch, they are closer to two. So that's about $20 for four minutes with some good mileage. The better action is in the VIP's. There are two: a $100 room and a $150 room, for four and six dances each. There the dances are nude and mileage is in the Toyota Prius range. I took Francene into the $100 room twice. The dances were as good as I've gotten at Penthouse in Detroit (my all-time favorite club). Jasmine's dances were not as hot but still gratifying. Other dancers that night were not on my chart, though. I tried again the following afternoon, only to be sorely disappointed. The place was barren. And the dancers were much less attractive (I'd say 3's) except for one who never even worked the room but kept texting in the corner. There was one Hispanic girl who (as another poster remarked) used the line "Is that mine?" as she grabbed my bone. I think it's the only English she knows. Then there was the rather corpulent girl (I'm not talking chubby here; I'm talking huge) who made a habit of making a pest of herself. Wide girls are not a turn on for me. (They might be for some, because I notice that she did a couple of dances) But she would not go away. And she kept coming back, asking dumber and more annoying question. Then again that night, she came back to harass me. I just had to firmly tell her to leave me alone. So I came back again in the evening after having a bite at the local Sonic. Francene and Jasmine were not there. And the assortment of girls was better than the afternoon but still a little lame. I had one major disappointment, going into the VIP with a tall brunette who didn't even strip down. I was really pissed at that. Overall, Flamingo was a mixed bag. Some success and some possibilities. But also some major disappointments. I think it's got some promise, though. The dances are very much to my taste, even the $10 ones. I'll just have to be very choosy as to the girls I pick. The percentage of danceables seems to be quite low.
