My wife and I visited Club...

My wife and I visited Club 390 on a Saturday evening in April. (Sorry, I am a bit behind in my reviews.) We had a coupon for free admission but were surprised to find that it only worked for one of us. Perhaps if we had each had our own coupon it would have been different? Anyway, admission, which they call an "entertainer fee" was $20. There is a mandatory coat check.

The club is in a well-lit industrial area and the parking lot is very well-lit unlike some of the other Chicagoland clubs. A few weeks before we had been to The Factory and my wife was a bit uncomfortable at how dark the access road to the club was so this was a definite improvement. We were feeling pretty positive as we entered the club.

The bouncers were friendly and professional. The floor was fairly packed but we were shown to a table and seated directly in front of the stage. There was one other couple two rows behind us so we were pleased to not be the only couple since it was a bit early. (around 11) After being seated only a few moments, we were approached for our drink order. As is common in clubs, we did not have a lot of choice given that we are dark beer drinkers. However, Club 390 does at least have Guinness. Our drinks arrived promptly and were cold.
