The plethora of excellent reviews compelled me to partake in my first experience of Follies. Came in at 2:30 pm and this joint was crowded as heck. This is obviously the daytime spot for Atlanta. $15 ante to go inside ($5 parking fee, plus $5 cover, plus $4.25 drink minimum). The strippers range the full spectrum in quality: one or two only give air dances, one or two are ROBs, most mix in some kind of contact with air dances, and a handful give high mileage friction dances. For new customers, my advice is to remain inactive for the first 30 minutes to perform visual recon so that you minimize hemorrhaging money on air dancers and ROBs in your effort to find the high mileage dancers. Be aware that the tactics of air dancers and ROBs only work one time on any typical customer, but as long as Follies keeps getting a huge influx of new customers, those air dancers and ROBs will continue to operate in a fertile environment. Beware of dancers approaching you with "Would you like a dance?" Most likely, that is an air dancer or ROB having a hard time selling lap dances, so they quick force a decision upon you with little time to think, and they walk away after 5 seconds if your answer is anything but "yes." Hopefully now that I've put this advice out, more customers will put the choke on the small amount of air dancers and ROBs who continue to survive in this club and taint the experiences of a few discouraged customers.

Unlike the bad dancers, the good dancers are booked up at all times given the sheer amount of high-expectation customers packing this joint. You either have to ambush the good dancer as soon as she leaves her customer, or you have to tip her on stage and put a bug in her ear that you'd like a lap dance once she is done. While in snaking mode, I identified and solicited one stick shifter that was booked about 2 or 3 in advance, and after a 3 hour stay, I still had not come up on her waiting list (total bummer). Anyway, I eventually found another smoking hot, extremely high mileage dancer who made my 3 hour visit and my money paid well worth it. One thing to note: Most strippers cited that they could get in trouble if management saw them letting customers touch their boobs. However, the good dancers all found ways to get your hands where you wanted them. It goes to show that the bad dancers rely on excuses not to do things and the good dancers find ways to work around the barriers and obstacles.

I left late afternoon and came back at 9:30 pm. There was less of a crowd at night time. Night shift dancer quality seemed roughly the same as day shift. After turning away about ten "Would you like a dance" strippers that were hard up for business, my patience paid off, and I hit the jackpot with another hot, extremely high mileage dancer who I took to VIP and what an awesome VIP dance it was. Note: The good dancers will tell you exactly what they will do for you in the VIP. Conversely, the bad dancers will make vague promises and not deliver (a serious gash to the wallet).
