The Kongo Klub has the feel...

The Kongo Klub has the feel of a local bar with strippers in it. The stage is off to the corner in a little pit so it is kind of removed from the regular bar. If you're not in the pit you have a tough time seeing the stage. That's fine with the crowd who seem more interested in hanging with their friends than watching the show. The music is picked out by the dancers so songs are full length and the night I was there the girls did 5 song sets. They can get naked on stage an usually do by the third song, but on the main floor and during the lap dances they have to stay totally covered. Imagine the city council meeting where these rules were drawn up. Must have been hilarious! Somehow these laws protect us from something... Anyway, a good mix of girls, all naturals, no Barbies with bolt ons.

Not a lot of hustle here either. It was actually difficult to get a dancer's attention in order to get a lap dance. They're used to just hanging with the regular crowd and making stage tip money...which seemed to flow pretty good. the privates are done in a semi curtained room with multiple sofas so 3-4 dances can happen at a time. Some ok grinding but no 2-way contact on the dances I got. Not worth the money if you ask me. If I lived here I would stop in, because if your gonna choose to drink at a normal bar or a bar with naked chicks in it, I'm gonna pick the naked chick bar everytime. I would never drive out of my way to get to the Kongo Klub.
