I decided to give Centerfolds 2000 a shot one weekday night in the evening. I should've known better. Whenever I've been to this club, I've been impressed by the physical space. It's a large building and tastefully decorated - definitely more of the "gentlemen's club" than "strip joint" vibe. By and large, the dancers are also OK looking, though there's not much variety. Where Centerfolds 2000 fails is in the monetary value. First, they were still charging their regular cover ($7) even on a quiet Monday night. Second, the girls just didn't seem to be into what they were doing. Perhaps that's partially due to the fact that the place was so quiet (probably only three or four customers there), but I expect to see enthusiasm and it was lacking. Third, drinks were on the expensive side (though I don't remember the exact price). Finally, the lap dances were mostly air and not worth the price. They're right out in the open, so no privacy there. I also felt there was an unnecessary emphasis on upselling to VIP. Basically, I was deeply disappointed by this club and don't plan on returning. Perhaps if you're just looking to sit somewhere, watch TV, and ogle naked women this club would work, but it's definitely not where you want to go for dances. There are other, much more solid options within a reasonable radius of this location. Go elsewhere.
