New owners and new name, The Gold Club. I checked it out briefly to see if there are any changes for the better and it didn't seem so. Table dances are $20 and little contact. The stage show is rather poor. They had a feature porn star, Jenni Lynn, but they had those pretty regular before. With the Heritage golf tourney I expected more dancers but it was mostly the same ones. Lots of international girls with thick accents. It appears that they are now calling the upstairs a champagne room with an extra charge to enter. I didn't try it and it looked like few others were. On weekends they are trying to be a dance club and strip club-in-one after midnight. I was there on Thursday so didn't get to see that one. Pretty good for eye candy but nothing special. It's not cheap and it's pretty tame but it's the only show on the island. There may be real changes coming. We'll just have to wait and see.
