I've been dropping in at this club every month or two for the past decade, and have seen it go through a couple of cycles of re-building after suffering a major bust by LE. As Louisville locals know, we're currently at a high level of crackdown in local strip clubs and massage joints, and this club has been affected by that as much as any.

(Before the most recent series of busts -- which is what led to the change in management and the name change -- I could generally count on being able to get the wonderful woman who oversees the floor to guide me to the particularly high-mileage performers. This club [in its Bear Neccessities incarnation] and the Green Light Lounge were the only places in town where I was aware that full-service private dances were an option.)

Previously, a $100 "drink" would send you and your chosen dancer to a (very) dimly lit area in the far back of the club for about a half hour. Mileage was generally quite high "in the back." Now, however, that area of the club has been remodeled and is well lit and in plain view of the rest of the club. There are, though, two new "champagne rooms" (i.e., VIP rooms), each furnished with a couple of couches and one noticeably dim light bulb. The price of admission has gone up -- it takes a $180 "bottle" to reserve a champagne room -- and my sense is that the mileage is not so high as it used to be.
