I have visited the 'Dirty Bird'...

I have visited the 'Dirty Bird' as it is called on several occasions. The club has not changed much over the years, but I will detail our latest visit for accuracy's sake.

We headed to the club after a football game in KC. It is in North Lawrence across the river, it is somewhat difficult to find in the dark. The club itself is in a gravel parking lot, and looks like a run down factory / barn. It is very isolated though, which is good if that matters to you.

Cover was 6$, they check ID's but don't scan them. Around 7pm there was a decent crowd there, ranging from students to older men. The inside isn't awesome but certainly not terrible. There are 2 bars, 2 stages but only 1 stage is used the times I have been there. Drink specials are good, usually buckets of beer for 15-18$.
