Mary's is somewhat of an institution...

Mary's is somewhat of an institution (at least to people from the Portland area) as its reportedly the oldest currently operating place in town. Let me be clear: This is a classic dive bar...except they have live naked ladies! I don't mean this in a derogatory way, its just no frills, no glitz and has something of an odd appeal to it. You can find hookers prowling around outside (stay far away from them gents meth addicts all).

Its very dark inside with a raised stage which runs along the club...think a long skinny room with the stage and bar lining one wall. Nobody tends to sit at the actual bar as the jukebox they have on the stage blocks your view a bit. One pole and the end of the stage is where you want to sit for up close viewing. A buck a song is pretty much the going rate not to get snarky words from the ladies.

Most patrons sit back and just have beers, they have like 4 on tap but I stuck with the Mirror Pond (not much of a Bud, Bud Light guy).
