WTF??? the last stop on my way...

WTF???

the last stop on my way home from my akron expedition.

1st of all the physical club rating is actually better than 3 and the value rating probably is too but this place is near impossible to find. i bought a gps today before i took my akron expedition and even with it i couldn't find this club. i drove around in circles while my gps was telling me that i had arrived at my destination and this club was nowhere to be seen! i stopped a couple times to reprogram the gps and still ended up with the same results. one of the times while i was in a parking lot reprograming it i saw a guy standing outside a building havng a smoke and i asked him about the club. he told me that it was down some steps behind me so i parked my car and walked down the steps and came upon a small parking lot that was surrounded by what looked like townhomes/condos. turned out that's what they were but because of previous reviewers comments i wasn't sure. there was one doorway that had a sign out front stating no parking and it looked like it might be the best option to possibly be the club so i walked over, opened the door and walked in. i was in an empty apartment that was probably being renovated as the lights were on and it smelled like fresh paint. i didn't know if anyone was in there or not and i'm standing there looking at the toilet in the bathroom and having a great need to take a piss after my previous club visits but also realizing that at this point i am technically guilty of burglary or breaking and entering so i walk back outside still trying to figure out where the club is.

so now i'm in this small parking lot again, badly needing to piss and i see a small alcove next to the concrete steps i had previously walked down and i walked over there to relieve myself just as a lady was pulling into the parking lot. i'm standing there barely out of sight pissing and i hear a car door close and i'm thinking that getting caught pissing in public in broad daylight will look great on my life's resume. i finish pissing without any repurcussions and step back into the lot just as the lady is getting ready to enter her apartment and in my most innocent voice i say to the lady, excuse me there's supposed to be a nightclub around here somewhere. she motions over to another walkway between a couple buildings and tells me that it's over that way so i thank her and off i go down the walkway.

i am now in an area of several small shops and empty storefronts and i'm walking around trying to find the sign that says desiree. there isn't one so i start reading the building numbers and the number that is desiree's address has a sign that says mangos bar or something so i walk inside and i'm in an empty bar but i hear voices coming from the other side of the wall so i walk around and find a door at the end of the room, open it and viola! i'm finally in the desiree night club! a bartender, two girls wearing hoodies, and two customers that were obviously known by the workers. i'm a little frazzled by what i just went through trying to find this place, take a look around, and honestly feel like an outsider here and decide that it's time to call it a day so i go to leave and walk out the door except that this turns out to be another door that leads outside to another part of the world that i hadn't previously seen so i re-enter the club find the door i orginally entered and make my way back to my car.
