After pronouncing this club dead, I returned on Friday, April 8, 2011, the afternoon of the Detroit Tigers home opener, a drunken ritual in downtown Detroit. This club was packed, shoulder to shoulder, SRO before, during and after the game. A lot of guys, with dates, came in to drink because they wanted to be part of the scene, even if they didn't have a precious ticket to the game.
The crowd was young, loud and drunk, dressed in sports attire, jerseys and sweatshirts. I stuck out as the only suit in the place, but I got a lot more attention that way. Not my plan, but my business meeting was cancelled.
Fantasia told me that the new Detroit ordinances did not apply and attempted to show me that nothing had changed. In the crowded atmosphere with no privacy, I declined the offer. I accepted the standard LD which had a lot of two way touching with offers of more. There was also the Detroit dancer whine about finances, auto repair and rent.
