Gold Club bills itself as an upscale club, but in my opinion it isn't that great. Okay, it's not a dive, but it could be so much better.

My wife and I like to go to different clubs and we tried Gold Club. It's not that couples friendly. Yes, there are other couples there and they want couples to come into the club, but they charge an entrance fee, even if you are in a couple. Our regular club in MA doesn't charge an entrance fee if you are part of a couple. Then once you are in the club, the dancers hound couples for lap dances just as much as they would a single guy. This is a big mistake in our opinion. Couples generally want to go chill out and have a couple drinks. If they want lap dances they will let the dancer know. Dancers should never bother couples non-stop for dances. It's also not that nicely set up on the inside. There is a round stage with some chairs around it surrounded by a handful of tables. If they want to call themselves high end, they should have done a LOT better with the inside of the club. Yes, there were some attractive girls but that is probably the only redeeming quality of the place in our opinion. All in all, no it's not the worst environment ever, but hardly a great place.
