Was in Houston visiting my special...

Was in Houston visiting my special female friend who had other plans that night. Went late on a Friday night. Chose Penthouse because I had not been the before. Paid a $12 cover, dodged the very nice waitress, declining a seat at the table too sit at the bar and get a feel for the place. The damage for my drink was $18!!! Geez...that was a shock. Club has a large center stage and two satellite stages. Dancer does a two song set on center then rotates to the satellites. Slender brunettes of Hispanic origin dominate; all in bikini bottoms and pasties. Stayed through most of the rotation nursing my drink for about an hour. Can't comment on dance quality because I wasn't approached even once by any dancer! All seemed to be content to take their turn on stage then hang out with the bf, a regular, or other dancers. Maybe my body language scared them off. It was as if I had the plague. In all i judge the place to be a run-of-the-mill club with no special redeeming qualities. Won't be back.
