Went here last night with a male friend after the Ke$ha show. We were there from out of state, so he had never been there before, but I used to go to Wright State so I'd been a couple of times. I told him it was a very laid back club before we went, and afterwards he agreed. No mandatory coat check or valet, no bathroom attendants. Girls get in for free.
Well when we first sat down, a really sweet girl talked to us for a while. Her name was Jenny. She asked us if we wanted dances, and I told her to check back later. I wanted to see what the rest of the talent looked like before making a decision. Now most of the girls on stage did a half-assed job, and none of them on the floor would approach us. They'd walk right past. I was shocked, as being an attractive female I never get ignored in strip clubs. Then we figured out it was because I was in sequin hot pants, fishnets, and 6" glitter pumps for the concert. All the girls assumed I worked there & was with my customer.
We spent a lot of time looking around at all the girls and felt a bit disappointed. They weren't all that attractive, and most of them had unpleasant expressions. You could tell they didn't want to be there, and they weren't being friendly, upbeat, outgoing, or trying to make money. I'm a dancer, so I was pretty disgusted with their behavior. Finally we agreed that the cutest girl there was this curvy kind of goth looking dancer.. I believe Amber was what she goes by. We asked her to come sit with us, and she had a great personality. We each got dances from her & left quite happy. Thank goodness she was working that night! I don't remember Living Room being this lame.
