It had been a few years...

It had been a few years since at Bonita and had some time on a Friday afternoon. Since the club is not close to my work or home I have gotten the 1 day-$5 pass in the past. I guess that option is no longer available in the state of Kansas because Bonita is now a "private" club that requires a 1 year $10 membership.

The place has not changed at all since the first time I visited 7 years ago. The parking lot is still crushed rock with monster pot holes. The bouncers are still tough-guy wanna-bees that wear a size too small black t-shirts. The place still has worn out carpet. The place still has a VERY small and dirty bathroom. The place still has a 2' foot tall runway stage with a pole on each end that looks like it was made in an afternoon. The place still does not have enough chairs and benches. The chairs and benches that they do have are torn. The tables still wobble. The dancers still cover the spectrum of too old to just barely legal--anorexic to 30 lbs over weight--A cups to man-made EE.

I got a bottled water. I have no proof that they "refill" bottles but I found it strange that the cap was already loosened and the water level was 1/4" from the top. I have never seen a bottle in a grocery store or gas station have so little "space" left between liquid and top of container. Again, I did not see anyone filling bottles and it could just be a particular bottlers specifications but just seemed odd to me. As a result my $4 water was not drank from.
