A short review of a short...
A short review of a short visit. Had some time to kill before picking up somebody at the airport. The club is almost directly inderneath the 405-105 freeway interchange. Exterior looked a little faded, like maybe it could use some fresh paint. Inside could use a little updating as well. Admission $6 and one drink $5.75. Club was a little dark but not impossibly so. Music also not painfully loud. There was a large two-pole low rectangular stage against one wall but unused. Also a high circular one pole stage in the center with a disco ball overhead, which was where the dancing was occuring. A shared lapdance room just off from the entrance to one side and a skybox mezzanine of lapdance booths looking down on the main floor. I could not see where any private VIP rooms were. Restrooms were neat.
The only problem was a severe dancer shortage. I came in and sat down and...nothing. I know that it is nice not to have a constant dance hustle, but I do expect to at least have somebody come over and say hi. The waitress took my drink order so I knew I hadn't turned invisible. I did see a couple girls already talking to other guys and one at the bar apparently to busy with their phone I guess. Plus saw one and a half performers on the stage (with a long vacant gap in between. The girls I did see looked fine, but too few for the number of customers. The 6 rating is not for quality but lack of quantity. Got the call and headed to the airport without being asked, much less getting a lapdance. Their loss.
