First let me start by saying...
First let me start by saying that I have been a strip club regular at a few of providence's establishments for 10 years plus. Sportsman's Inn is one of them. The club is dark, outdated, bit grungy, and has bathrooms that would make gas stations look like a palace. With that being said the staff (bouncers, bartenders, some dancers) are the coolest and most down to earth I've ever met in this industry.
Sportsman has no cover before 5ish. The beers are moderately priced [4 domestic 5 import]. There is also a kitchen now open which has, believe it or not, incredible dishes! [Ask jonathan for daily special]
For pool lovers, a brand new table was installed last week. Heavy duty players come out Saturday afternoon. DJs allana and eric are awesome! Buy them a drink and you'll have your song playing thru club!
Now for the rest of the staff..old manager left and current manager is well liked and respected by both employees and customers. Bartenders are eye candy but don't dress the part. Bouncers are easy to talk to and will even play pool if you need an opponent. Dancers at Sports vary like weather. Their looks are definitely below the norm for clubs but they make up for it with their dances!
Cabaret dances are given at bar or couch. Usually 2 bucks will get u 30 second grind sometimes rub if they like you. I usually give 5. Downstairs dances cost 5 a ticket and usually 20 a song. There are booths that are enclosed except for the opening entrance. No door or curtain but they face away from downstairs bouncer.
