You know, the more I think about it, the more the Airport Lounge grows on me. It's not the best club, and the girls aren't the hawtest you'll find, but all around, it is a great experience-- they don't promise more than they deliver. The staff (non-dancers) was a mix of reserved and fun-and-joking, with none of the snark that's too common at clubs. The bartender did her thing, and stopped by at appropriate, but not too-frequent, intervals to check on us. Domestic beer was $4, I believe. Dancers were on stage one at a time for 3 songs each, with a mix of white, black, asian, athletic, curvy, thin, and enhanced styles. As typical, after each dancer left the stage they came around to everyone for a tip. While that's a little annoying, they were nice enough to ask 'would you like to tip me' and did politely chat with us if we wanted, even the guy who wasn't tipping, of floated off if we didn't want to chat. That was the extent of their hustle. One dancer that I talked with for a while seemed slightly surprised when I asked for a private dance-- it was a slow Sunday. The staffer working the private dance room was not intrusive and only stuck his head around the corner once during a two-for-1 Sunday special dance ($25). I don't remember what the VIP option was, but when I scoffed at the price, the dancer and staffer standing next to me both kind of nodded their heads in agreement. Overall, it was a fun evening, without any of the hurry-up-and-drink or hurry-up-and-buy-a-dance attitude that pervades many clubs.
