Visited: Tuesday Evening

I visited the Flint Deja Vu for the first time in a couple years last Tuesday. They still had the 'Cheap Tuesday' promotion going on, where it was I believe a $5 cover plus 2for1 dances throughout the evening. Dances are still the standard $20. (They have half hour and one hour VIP's, but I didn't inquire about the price.) The interior has been completely remodeled since the last time I visited, and looks great. You now enter through a long hallway to the right. (which includes the bathrooms, etc.) It was around 8pm when I visited, and I'd say there was around 10-15 customers. No 'thug factor' at all, and felt pretty comfortable and safe. Music was loud, but no overbearingly so.

Once I settled in, it was pretty much the same experience as its always been at the Vu. The dancers were pretty attractive in my opinion. Their ethnicity was primarily Caucasian, but there was 1 or 2 African American dancers as well. I've never had any problems getting attention from the dancers at this club, and this occasion was no different. Got the standard "would you like a dance" question a few times, before one of the dancers sat with me for a few songs. She was a skinny blond, who looked to be early 20's. Got the "would you like to buy the lady a drink" question (I can't stand that, and wish they would get rid of it), which I politely declined and stated that I'd prefer to use that money on dances. Ended up getting the 2for1, plus a 3 extra on top of that (Total was $80, and threw her a $10 for tip.) I enjoyed the dances, but nothing in the way of extras. (That's more of a Detroit thing, IMO, and have only VERY rarely been offered in Flint.)
