ALERT, ALERT! Two issues surfacing with Brad's Brass Flamingo:

1) The famous $10 LDs are gone! It used to be they were $10 until 7pm, and then a door watcher would collect a $2 "house fee" afterward, making them effectively $12. Well on Saturday afternoon, after an okay dance from one of the girls, I paid her the $10, plus a $2 tip, figuring I'd give her what I would've normally given the "house" if it were evening. She said she needed more, because she now has to pay the house fee. I thought she'd turned into a ROB, but paid her an extra $2 so I could get the hell out of the room .

Well, the next dancer also proceeds to inform me the dances are $12 'round the clock now, and sure enough, there's this sign when you enter the main LD room that I've passed a hundred times before and never noticed. It says dances are $10, plus $2 to the house. I guess that means all the time now. And my dancer wasn't happy about it, claiming it's killing her daytime business. She pointed out a regular customer who normally buys 10 dances at a clip, who on this day, quit after one. The new requirement also requires the girl to walk to the front bar after each LD session to pay her house fee, which cuts into her customer interaction time.
