Walked in a little after 6PM...
Walked in a little after 6PM and there wasn't much going on. No cover at the door, but there were less than a half dozen dancers and about as many customers. The girls seemed bored, going through the motions on stage, no one tipping, and there was a general dead feeling to the place. This is Happy Hour? Although I considered leaving immediately, I took a seat at the bar and ordered a beer.
I nursed my beer to watch all of the girls on stage, and was approached by several with a hard sell for LDs. I declined all. They were polite in accepting my "Not now, maybe later", but I wouldn't have wanted a $20 LD from the girls who approached me. Most of the girls were, to be polite, a little chunky for my tastes. The one exception was a cute blonde who left a customer to dance and then immediately went back to him. As far as I could tell, they were both setting there not talking, and she even seemed to try to stay as far away from him as possible. Didn't encourage me to wait around to see if she would be free.
One beer and gone. Might try Lidos again on a busier night and time, but I wasn't enthused by this visit.
