I love this place. It is different in that it doesn't put up a faux luxury ambiance like a lot of places, but embraces its small community feel. They even let their pet dogs run loose in the bar. They yip at people walking in sometimes, heh. Very personal, the banter between employees, and customers, makes it feel more warm and relaxed. I get along great with the bartender, and so should you if you are polite.

The building is basically a dump, plastic patio chairs, well worn wood, linoleum flooring on the stage. It can't be very clean, but I've never felt dirty walking through it and they do all the upkeep they can manage on the aging structure. There are two stages, the back one stays empty and dark unless its REAL busy. A single pool table in one corner. A private dance area is walled off, with a tinsel door.

The quality, and quantity, of entertainers varies. It runs the spectrum from knockout to hag, can be busy or slow. And somehow its always a good ratio of girls to customers, as if they only show up when the crowd shows up. Much more packed in the summer, obviously. But all of them will sit and engage in intelligent conversation with you. I've never had a woman say nothing but "want a dance?" to me.
