Went to Sugars last Saturday night....

Went to Sugars last Saturday night. It was typical Sugars, lots of pretty dancers, plenty of pressure to buy dances, mediocre contact. This is a classic gentleman's club, but I like a little more raunch.

I've reviewed Sugars before, and wanted to repost to warn others to avoid an experience that I had.

Sugars is open, at least on weekends, until 3 am. Sadly, the Austin city fathers enacted legistlation that stops the sale of alcohol after 2am. So, at about 1:45, the waitress came around and encouraged us for last call. That was fine, we bought another round of beers, which were delivered to us just before 2. So far, so good, right? At about 2:05, a different waitress came around to try to take our new beers away from us. We objected loudly enough, so she left and a manager came over. He told us we had one minute to drink our beers. We objected politely to him (because he was a big mo-fo), and finally I suggested that he refund our money for the beers, which he did. But this tainted the night, and we immediately left.
