The general feeling of most reviewers that DJV Lansing just isn't what it used to be was confirmed on a recent Tuesday night visit. Not that long ago, Tuesdays featured 2 for 1 dances and great deals in VIP ($100 Half Hours if I remember correctly.) Now, Tuesdays are $2 admission, which turns the place into Romper Room. Kids with no money and even less class, taking up space but never buying any dances and certainly not going to VIP. Why??? Only management knows, or thinks they do. With the place full of non-spenders, dancers didn't bother to sit with customers, just making an occasional round to ask for dances. Impossible to create any kind of conversation/relationship. Management needs to remember mature repeat customers who spend some bucks. We seem to have been forgotten in the shift to hoodies, hip hop and $2 admission.
