I had long promised myself to pay a further visit to the Rouge Van Nuys so this is what I did. The club is on a quiet street in an area of warehouses. There is good parking on the street and the entrance is well lit. The charge with a coupon was five dollars. I think I was supposed to buy a drink but nobody asked me to. Prices were $20 topless, $40 nude, 3 for 6 dances and $200 for half an hour nude. As you enter, the large stage with a single pole and two velvet sofas is directly in front of you; there are plenty of comfortable chairs around the stage and two horseshoe seating areas for groups to the right. The bar is behind these horseshoes to the right. Against the walls there are button upholstered benches for extra seating and also a thing which looks like a pulpit which I take it is for solo pole dances. The walls are decorated with very large framed blow-ups of girls: very attractive. The main lap dancing areas seem to be to the left of the bar towards the men's room and also to the left of the entrance and stage as you come in. If you go to the men's room you can clearly see into the lap dancing area. As I passed there were three girls doing fully nude dances, looking like sea nymphs. Really quite titillating. The overall impression is classier than any other club I have seen in LA. It is well maintained with clean lavatories which seems to be unusual.

Now for the action. I arrived at nearly midnight on Thursday but the place was practically empty and no one was dancing on the stage and there only seemed to be half a dozen girls in the place altogether. However this did not seem to matter too much because, a unique feature of this club as far as I am concerned, each of those six girls in succession leapt into my lap for a chat and a cuddle. Very nice indeed. I don't remember names but I was persuaded to take half an hour with a half Spanish half Romanian girl with a splendid ass and nice tits. Nothing dramatic although a headstand in my lap was a first for me. YMMV. The money seemed well spent. There was also a lovely girl from Costa Rica whom I should have liked to lap. However she was called away before the moment of decision. By this time it was very late and I split. Verdict: lovely club, some nice girls but not enough going on. I was assured that some nights it was busy with more girls. However, on both of my visits it was very quiet. One criticism: even in the half-hour lapping area you are sitting on a rather small narrow bench. Not great.
