I've been to Scandals a few times, and from what I can tell, a lot of folks don't know it operates on a tiered price system. There's the obvious: No cover before 8pm, no coat check before 8pm. However, lapdances before 8pm are the standard $20. After 8pm, they charge an additional $20 per song, and I've also heard there's a lapdance area admittance fee of $20. So after 8pm, it would be $60 for your first dance, $40 for each additional dance.

Add to that the prices of beers goes up as the day goes on: I think bottle will run about $3-4 at noon with the lunch croud, goes up to $6 a few hours later, then $8, then $10 after 8pm. Given all that (and the great food!), bar none it is the best value of any club in NYC before 8pm, at which point it turns into a pumpkin. The dancers know this too. I've had girls come up to me at 7:55pm and offer to give me 2 or even 3 dances for the price of one just because they realize their revenue stream is about to dry up drastically.
