I stopped into the legendary Rick’s...

I stopped into the legendary Rick’s on a Thursday night on a recent visit to NYC.  Would I see Ronnie the Limo Driver from the Howard Stern show?  Who cares.  I got there about 9:30, $20 cover and mandatory coat check.

 

I walked down the hall and into the main room.  It was packed with both customers and dancers.  I didn’t try to get a seat, just heading for the bar.  A Stella, with tip was $11 or $12.  Most of the dancers walking the room were very pretty, wearing slinky evening gowns.  There was a main stage at the front of the room, and  a platform with a second dancer in the middle of the room.  The girls stripped down to just a thong on both stages.

 

As I sat at the bar, I was approached by Erika, a brunette with an Eastern Europen accent.  We didn’t talk long, and then we went for a lapdance.  I wouldn’t call it a private dance, because it was pretty much right in the middle of the room.  $20 for a decent dance, nice grind, but no hands on either part, songs appeared to be full length.  I also got 2 dances from Mona, pretty much the same.  Erika pitched me on the private room – I think she said $375 for 30 minutes.  I didn’t have the inclination to drop that kind of cash, so I passed.
