A buddy of mine and I went to Jacksonville to visit someone over the weekend. My buddy is in a wheel chair and he was driving his truck, converted to support his inability to use his legs. We are both Marine Corps Vets, him a disabled vet from Iraq. This club does not have any handicap parking spaces and regular parking is off to the side of the club. Right up front next to the door were three empty Taxi cab spaces marked by the club so we parked there. As my buddy was getting into his wheel chair and I was heading for the door to "check the inside out" I was confronted by the door man. He informed me we could not leave the truck there. I asked if they had any handicap parking spots and he said "No". I asked if we could park the truck in one of the three empty taxi spots and he again said "No". I asked if the spots were protected by state law and of course they were not, it was club policy to have the three taxi spots, yet no handicap spots, not one. Understanding I could have easily parked the truck for my buddy and gone to get it when we were ready to leave I was astounded at the lack of understanding and support for my buddy, a wounded, disabled Marine veteran from a club employee that caters to Marines! Right across the street from Camp Geiger!!!! And it was Sunday night with hardly any customers! Needless to say we did not stay. What was the sense in giving this club any of our money when they could not show even the slightest bit of courtesy by letting us park in one of three empty spots near the door on a slow night?

I am required by the site to offer a dancer and value rating even though they do not apply since we never got in the door. But to all my Marine brothers, if you have a choice, go to the Cave because they treated us well.
