As always, the atmosphere at any of the Block clubs can depend greatly on the time you visit, and staff changes are the norm. This club is as up-and-down as any club on the block.

A couple of weeks ago, for instance, I visited The Circus late on a Wednesday afternoon. There were four dancers I hadn't seen for some time - although none were especially physically attractive, all were friendly in their own way and three of the four suggested a three-on-one at the bar because it was late in the shift and they hadn't had a single customer! It was really fun - talking about old times while the three tried to outdo each other in administering the traditional Block Handshake. Not really a "typical" afternoon at the Circus, but certainly not outside the range of available experiences.

Then last week, I returned for a visit and discovered that three of my favorites - Kallie, Meghan, and Scarlett - had all converged on the Circus from other venues - The Red Room and Chez Joey's - of which you have heard me speak in earlier reports. Each of these three is an experience not to be missed, and I found it necessary to return on three separate days to treat each one as she deserved, while preserving the Blockist's aging capabilities.
