This is an upscale club, although...

This is an upscale club, although not really in an upscale location. I visited here and Christie's in Tempe on consecutive days, with different results. This is a big club with an upper level ringing the main stage. There is lots of seating; in fact on a Saturday night around 10pm, at least a third of the lower level was left idle. A few smart customers did take their dancers down to that area for a faux-VIP experience.

Unlike Tempe, which has two kinds of dances (floor and VIP), the Phoenix version has three, it seems. On the floor, the girls encourage trial $10 dances; my favorite of the evening suggested that there more touching allowed, etc upstairs, where the dances are $20 each. There are curtained areas up there for VIP dances, but no one -- I mean no one -- was up there. The $20 dance was a nice upgrade from the floor level. Not terribly private, but nobody bumping into you or staring intently either.

There was a variety of strong talent there: 6-9s and not a lot of weakness. The center stage features a long stairway which is a nice departure from the smaller places.
